Debate at the Town Hall went quite well, though the FC United lads sat around Sue called myself, Gary and Colin, twats every time we spoke! No wonder everyone hates them!
They’re getting council grants for their new ground at Moston – I’ve written to the MEN suggesting they call it The Council House. Will it get printed?
Saturday and one of those quaint 3pm kick offs. Eric Nixon’s book comes out today (Monday) – will it get in the City store before Us and Them?
Rain just about kept off and with a weakened team we won 2-0, Mario missing chances due to his late night session on Friday morning in the Liverpool strip club it’s rumoured. Let’s hope the title doesn’t come down to goal difference instead of refs decisions.
Saturdays MEN carried the front page story of the rag assaulting his missus when he spotted the Suarez non handshake on TV – and the judge outrageously blamed the ‘Pool man for the incident. No wonder……
Sunday we needed the rags to lose at Spurs (no Bale, no Parker) but they finished up winning 3-1 – Spurs had a goal disallowed for the merest hint of handball – what was I saying about refs decisions?
So just two points in it again and they’ve got an easier run in.
Just before we could play Chelsea and they sack AVB!
This week I’m off to the West Yorkshire branch tomorrow night for a chat on the book, then it’s Sporting, and then Swansea. Busy, and happy times!
