Wow, what a weekend. Heard the result from O/T in the Asda cafĂ© next to Moilineux – you should have heard the cheer when we found out the final score!
We did the biz v Wolves, should have had a hatful and obviously felt a bit sorry for them being relegated. Just got to win the last three games and keep ahead on goal difference to clinch it,
Euro Champs semis saw Chelsea and Munich go through – what a difference those two pens would have made when we were outplaying BM at The Allianz. Is it me or is Mourinho turning into Jack Dee?
Anyway we are pleased to announce that King Of the Kippax fanzine number 197, should hit the outlet at Aleef (Corner of Cross Street/Market Street) on Friday April 27TH and the selling points around the Etihad at the united and QPR games, plus up at Newcastle of course.

Thanks to all contributors for making this a bumper edition.
So, 5 days to the big one, Robson’s at it again. Why doesn’t he just fuck off and hide in the ladies toilets like he used to?
Dave
What's this about Robson in ladies toilets? Martin Edwards' apprentice?? Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI've been avoiding the English media for some time now as it was winding me up too much but last couple of days I've been tentatively tuning into Talkshite. This morning Avram Grant, when asked about Monday, said "both teams are in bad shape" but the usual crap about United been there done it and that they'll win. Why on earth didn't Brazil or Irani say "Bad shape, Avram? City have won their last 3 matches scoring 12 and conceding one!"
Then he said forget Messi and Ronaldo, Drogba is the best big game player around. Why on earth didn't Brazil or Irani say "Is that the same Drogba who let Chelsea down so badly in the Moscow CL final - when you were in charge and ended up losing your job, Avram?"
Then we have all this sympathy for Terry missing the final and not being allowed to lift the cup (if won). Personally I feel he deserves no sympathy and should be villified, not so much for his senseless foul but more for his despicable denial to Jeff Shreeves. For that idiot Hoddle to say the later admission showed what a big man Terry is was absolutely laughable. What choice did he have once he'd seen the video evidence? Manna from heaven for Anton Ferdinand's lawyers, surely. How can anyone trust what Terry says when he's in the witness box?
As usual, double standards. I know I'm not being very patriotic, but I hope Chelsea get stuffed by Bayern. I used to always support the British teams in Europe, but over the past five years, the amount of anti City reporting by the media and jelousy by the other "big" clubs and their fans, has created a seige mentality in my mind and as far as I'm concerned they can all go forth and fornicate. All this sucking up to Chelsea for reaching the final by boring Barcelona to death is ridiculous. I shudder to think what the press would have said had we won our way to the final in that manner and how bloody presumptious is asking if JT can collect the cup?
ReplyDeleteHey guys, make sure you don't miss todays Football Focus when they'll be discussing Mondays match with... Edwin Van Der Sar and Peter Schmeical!!! F***** sick.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds a bit one sided, they should also have Bobby Charlton, Bryan Robson and Alex Stepney to make it a fair debate.
ReplyDeleteI don't want Chelsea to win the CL for the simple reason that it isn't good for us for the CL seeding. Interesting to hear Chelsea fans booing Anton Ferdinand today. His crime was, of course, being called a f***in black c*** by Mr Terry. I wonder if black Chelsea supporters were joining with this rather desperate lack of class.
ReplyDeleteI hope that Roberto is just playing mind games over intimating that Mario could start tomorrow. Surely only possibly on the bench rather than Dzeko who looks odds on to be moved out during the summer break.
I honestly feel that Chelsea will fail to qualify for the CL. Beating Barca WAS their final and reaching the final is now a distraction that will see them fail to finish in the top four. They may win the FA Cup, but to be without CL football is unthinkable for Abramovich.
ReplyDeleteI have been getting a lot of useful and informative material in your website.
