First I was having a pop at your basking remark. I think we all agree, certainly Neil did, that we basked too much after our title win in 2012 and didn’t do the business that summer. Likewise I thought we all went a bit overboard after the Newcastle game especially Dzeko becoming a new man. Praps I was a bit harsh on him.
Cardiff was for me yet another poor away day of which we had plenty last season – too numerous to mention. I thought that the new manager with Kidd’s guidance (? )would improve things and yes he’s only done 2 games but lessons still to learn.
By the way the KK blog is for everyone and we usually get good debate so I’m quite entitled to air my opinion.
As for your remarks about petulant bluster, always ready to throw my toys out of the pram, don’t like disagreements, feel that because of who I am (a fanzine editor who provides a mag for fans to vent their spleen) think my arguments carry more weight, look in the mirror and see the twat that I sometimes am – well at my selling point we always have good discussions without too much pontification, though of course I can be a twat sometimes, as I’m sure you can. Did we chat at Madrid, Ajax, Swansea, Cardiff, Everton, Liverpool etc Micky – I don’t recall.
I can assure you that my 15 year old grandson who keeps telling me it’s the new City, held similar opinions to myself on the Cardiff and other debacles we’ve had especially the Wigan cup final one and after all the summer hype we hoped to have got rid of the stupidity he reckons.
I’m only 69 (going on 8) by the way
