Fairly quiet week. City in North America, beating Toronto 1-0 with a cracking George Evans goal. Game in Houston called off due to flooded pitch, type we used to play on regularly in the 70’s and 80’s. Anyone remember Burridge’s quote when the game at Spurs was postponed in the early 90’s? Not politically correct these days.
Florence (and the Machine’s) song brilliant on Graham Norton, but with too many red mentions (!) why didn’t we put it in for the Euro song contest? It still wouldn’t have won.
Surprise, surprise Blatter’s in again.
Arsenal were awesome yesterday, and subs were Giroud, Oxley Chamberlain and Wilshire, so who are these journo’s who keep telling us that we’ve got the strongest squad in the league? Pillocks.
Yaya is now getting respect and is staying what do you make of that?
Season tickets? I’ve had one (standing) since the mid 70’s when I lived away from Manc and with a young family to support on one wage couldn’t use it too often, but was happy to give my money to the club. So the idea of taking them away if too many matches missed doesn’t appeal, but I get Dave B’s point. These days with the option to sell back could alleviate the problem, and have we REALLY got a waiting list of nearly10,000? Going to book for City Live on the net. Fingers crossed
